Photo kiosk

By synthesizing insights from ongoing feature support, I identified systemic usability gaps and proposed a redesigned photo kiosk interface centered on user clarity. I successfully secured stakeholder buy-in for a research-led approach, using comprehensive user testing to validate a data-driven overhaul of the core experience.

design process

I collaborated with a design peer to define a high-level vision that addressed long-standing UX pain points like poor screen ergonomics. By moving primary controls to eliminate screen obstruction, we transformed a common user frustration into a streamlined, accessible interaction model.

impacts

With several days of dedicated testing in a controlled and moderated environment, we were able to A/B test and validate that the new direction solved several problems we knew about. We were also fortunate to uncover several new areas that we would address before the design moved to a development stage.

stakeholder collab

Moderated A/B testing confirmed that our redesign effectively addressed known user challenges while revealing new opportunities for optimization. We leveraged these insights to iterate on the design pre-development, ensuring a highly validated and seamless final handoff.
