New digital home

As the technology and features drove us toward a new versioned release of our digital home experience, I worked closely with the design system team to create the new responsive design of our digital home experience. User data showed that nearly 45% of users were performing digital home tasks on their phones. This lead us to a mobile first approach that focused the design on responsiveness and delivering the same ease of use on desktop or mobile.

design process

Tasked with the desktop web experience, I orchestrated a collaborative design process with my native mobile counterpart to ensure platform parity. We balanced independent exploration with structured peer critiques, ultimately converging on a validated direction that aligned our technical and UX goals.

impacts

A/B testing confirmed a strong user preference for the modernized visual style and improved information architecture, which directly enhanced task success rates. The redesign successfully established a cohesive ecosystem, with users specifically calling out the consistency between mobile and desktop experiences.

stakeholder collab

By fostering a collaborative environment with mobile designer and a common researcher, I ensured our designs were grounded in validated user needs. I successfully navigated internal restructuring by prioritizing cross-functional alignment and quickly integrating new team members to keep the project on track.
